Our (now former) ASD team got together today to see if we could work together as a new entity. The answer is “no;” at least not with our designer. He’s going to do his own thing, likely forming a company in a different market area for which the rest of us are not suited. We don’t fit into his new plans. So be it, at least it was great to see him again. He looked so happy and relaxed after his vacation. The rest of us may or may not do something together as a new company – we’ll see. Most of us (me included) need cash, so forming a new company wouldn’t help our current circumstances and would only aid in making us poorer.
Tonight (an hour from now) is my daughter’s graduation from middle school. I must admit that I’m not big on graduation ceremonies, but I haven’t missed one yet and don’t intend to. Hey, at least there’s dinner afterwards – sushi!
