Over the weekend, John and I went to a “Cars & Caffeine” event (same place I went to last month). We had a great time. As we were leaving the event, my car got in the procession with all the “hot” cars that were leaving. In front of us at the light was this poor little Toyota. At the light, all of us fast cars zoomed past it on both sides like it was standing still.
After that event, I got invited to a mostly Vietnamese potluck. The food was great, and some of it I even recognized. My favorite dish turned out to be “cow innards.” I thought it might be squid, but I was wrong.
