The weekend sure was fun! Our family gathering was very enjoyable, as was the conclusion of Tour of France (Evans won). I preached on Sunday and no one rode me out on a rail, so I guess it was OK.
Today was a day of cooking and cleaning. I also did some work (you know, my job).
This evening, we had Holly & Brandy over. It’s always nice to see the “kids” we grew up with. They aren’t kids anymore, but wonderful company none the less. I think they stayed up in the loft with Mindy (my sister) until 11PM; about the time I went to bed. My wife was already in bed. Tomorrow morning at 6AM, my family heads off to Pennsylvania to meet with her side of the family. I’m staying here to get some work done.
